In residential buildings throughout Great Neck Plaza, such as 28 Gilchrest Road, the illegal use of marijuana presents a serious problem with absolutely no oversight or enforcement by the Mayor’s office or Management of the buildings involved. The smoke from this drug permeates into the hallways and through the many vents of the building and individual apartments presenting a hazard to all tenants. Our children are most vulnerable.
It is imperative that our local government leaders get involved in “quality of life” matters, especially when it affects the health of their constituents. It has been brought to our attention that the the Mayor’s office and Building Management choose to ignore and dismiss complaints regarding this important matter.
Stay safe. Stay well.
